My human had another big suprise for me the other day. This one’s full of suprises, so I try to be the same. *wag wag wag*
She sat me down and told me that my sister Bonnie was coming to stay in our house for a week. My ears pricked up … Bonnie, MY house. A Week.
I wasn’t sure if this was good or not. My big brother Alfie comes over all the time and I love watching him chase the rabbits and do puppy runs in my garden. But Alfie’s a boy and we
have the same rules get along great and I wasn’t sure about having to share my human with another girl. Turns out, Bonnie’s a girl after my own heart.
Bonnie’s a real Mischief.
I eat a delicious raw diet. On the day of Bonnie’s arrival I was tucking into a bit of spring lamb *darling little things* and Bonnie had her kibble. She wanted mine and after a few days I was forced to share it all. Bonnie refused to eat her food and wanted mine instead. I don’t blame her, it’s totally pawsome, full of blood and guts and bones. As long as my bowl was full in the morning, I was happy to share my food with her and we started to play the ‘race you’ game every dinner time. I NEVER beat my
pig big brother Alfie, but I was pleased to beat Bonnie every single time.
I’ve just about learnt not to be too excited and drop balls and toys where I’m supposed to. I just love herding so much and sometimes find it hard to stop running round and round in a circle. Bonnie was PAWSOME at dropping things where she meant. She’d get a tennis ball right inbetween her canines and then just ‘plop’ where the ball was supposed to be. I was very impressed.
Tug of War.
I’m one size bigger than Bonnie is. She’s strong and fast, but I’m stronger and faster. This meant that when we were playing tug of war I could just stand my ground and growl and wag my tail at her. But Bonnie found a way round that. Firstly, she wriggled. Everyone always says that I’m a little wriggler, but you should see Bonnie – she definitely beats me in the wriggling stakes. She’d wriggle and wriggle and when that didn’t work … she just plain cheated!
The Bitey-Face GameI love playing The Bitey-Face Game, but Bonnie wasn’t too sure about my play growling and crocodile mouth and big teeth. She realised pretty quickly that she could stop me getting her face if she stomped on me. I still managed to get her legs though *wag wag wag* (I’m the one in the red collar)
It was PAWSOME to have Bonnie over to stay. She’s gone home to rest now, because Bella’s Boot Camp is tiring. We spoke to her human and he said that she’s been really calm since she got home, but she’s coming back in a week for more! *wag wag wag*
I can’t wait.
